Meet the King in your neighbour
Jesus describes the Son of Man gathering the nations and identifying himself with people who are hungry, thirsty, strangers, without clothing, ill or imprisoned. The choices made toward overlooked neighbours reveal whether his kingship has shaped a life.
Bring it into ordinary life
Christ the King does not direct our attention toward status or spectacle. He directs it toward people whose needs can be ignored. Recognising Christ in another person means more than feeling pity: it means offering care that respects dignity, listens before assuming and joins with others when a need is larger than one household can meet. We will not solve every hardship this week. We can notice one person or group we usually pass by, learn what help is actually useful and take one concrete step. Service becomes worship when love answers the person before us.

One action this week
Let the Gospel take shape
Ask a local pantry, shelter or parish ministry for one current need, then help meet it together.
Pray together
Christ our King, open our eyes to Your presence in every person. Make our care attentive, practical and respectful, especially toward those whom others overlook. Amen.
An original prayer for personal and family use.
