Build my prayer routine
A prayer rhythm that fits.
Choose your time and let a simple structure help you begin. No account, no streaks and no pressure to do everything.
Make room in your day
Your 5-minute morning prayer
Arrive with God · 1 minute
Make the Sign of the Cross. Settle into a comfortable position and offer this time to God.
Read and listen · 2 minutes
Read Luke 10:38–42 slowly. Notice one word or action in the scene. Ask how you might give Jesus your attention today.
Pray for others · 1 minute
Bring one person and one responsibility into prayer. Ask for the grace to respond with patience.
Offer the day · 1 minute
Lord Jesus, receive this ordinary day. Guide my words, work and attention. Help me notice the person who needs my love. Amen.
Total: 5 minutes. Times are a gentle guide. The closing prayer is an original Life of a Catholic composition.
Small enough to return to.
You can pray while seated, standing or kneeling as your circumstances allow. Put the timer aside if it becomes a distraction. Missing a day is simply an invitation to begin again.
