Holiness in ordinary choices
In the Beatitudes, Jesus describes the blessedness of mercy, peacemaking, humility and a hunger for righteousness. All Saints celebrates the people who share God’s life in heaven.
Bring it into ordinary life
The saints had different gifts, temperaments and circumstances. Holiness does not require copying somebody else’s personality. It begins in receiving God’s love and answering it where we are. Pick one of the Beatitudes and consider what it could look like in your household: a patient response, an apology, a refusal to join cruel gossip, or a small act of mercy. Ask the saints to pray with you as you begin.
