Care for what God entrusts to you
The tenants in Jesus’ parable treat an entrusted vineyard as their own possession and reject the owner’s messengers and son. The story asks what fruit our response to God produces.
Bring it into ordinary life
A home, a friendship, a talent and a position of responsibility are places where care can grow. We can mistake responsibility for the right to control everything. Jesus calls his listeners to a different response: receive God’s gifts and bear fruit. Notice one place where another person depends on your reliability. Offer care there without demanding praise. This parable is a call to examine our own lives; it is never a reason to blame Jewish people collectively.

Care for a shared space and invite everyone to choose one small part.
