· Luke 7:18b–23
John sends messengers to ask Jesus a direct question. Faith can include uncertainty brought honestly into relationship. Jesus points to signs of mercy and restoration rather than shaming the questioner. When doubt or confusion rises, name the question precisely, examine trustworthy evidence and notice where love, truth and healing are taking shape. Honest inquiry need not be the enemy of faith. It can become a faithful way of seeking Christ.
