Let compassion organise the work

Jesus sees weary crowds with compassion and sends disciples to share the work. Compassion is not measured by how exhausted one person becomes. It notices need, gathers people and gives each person a responsible part. If a burden in your family or community has fallen on one set of shoulders, ask how it can be shared more fairly and safely. Shared care also protects people from resentment and burnout.

· Matthew 9:35—10:1, 5a, 6–8

A question to sit with

Where has one person been carrying work that should be shared?

One small step

Name one recurring burden, invite help and agree on one clear task each person can sustain.

Pray

Compassionate Jesus, open our eyes to need and teach us to share the work with humility, fairness and care. Amen.
