· Matthew 9:27–31
Two men bring their need directly to Jesus and persist in seeking him. Their story should not be used to suggest that disability reflects weak faith or that every faithful prayer receives the outcome we want. It can still teach us to pray honestly. Name what you hope for without hiding uncertainty, then listen for the next wise step, including appropriate care and support today.
A question to sit with
What do I need to bring to Jesus in clear, honest words?
One small step
Write one direct prayer, then identify one trustworthy person or practical resource that could help.
Pray
Jesus, receive my honest hope and uncertainty. Guide me toward wise help, patient trust and respect for every person’s dignity. Amen.
