· Matthew 15:29–37
Jesus receives people seeking healing and then attends to a hungry crowd. Compassion notices both the immediate need and the person carrying it. We cannot promise outcomes or meet every need alone, but we can bring what we have, ask what is useful and cooperate with others. Today, let concern move beyond a vague good intention toward one respectful, practical offer of help made with care.
A question to sit with
Whose practical need have I noticed but not yet answered?
One small step
Ask one person what would genuinely help, then offer something realistic or connect them with reliable support.
Pray
Compassionate Jesus, teach me to notice real needs and respond without taking control. Bless what we can share and guide us toward wise help. Amen.
