· Luke 20:27–40
Jesus answers a question about resurrection without reducing eternal life to a continuation of every earthly arrangement. Christian hope does not give us a diagram of heaven or erase the ache of separation. It entrusts the living and the dead to the God who is faithful. Bring one uncertainty about the future into prayer. You do not need to force certainty; ask for enough hope to live lovingly in the day you have.
A question to sit with
Where am I demanding complete certainty before I allow myself to hope?
One small step
Name one future fear to God, then choose one loving action that belongs to today.
Pray
God of the living, hold those I love and the future I cannot see. Give me hope enough to live this day faithfully. Amen.
