· Luke 17:20–25
Jesus turns attention away from dramatic signs and toward God’s reign already present among his hearers. We can become so absorbed in predictions or distant problems that we miss the faithful choice within reach. Look for a place where truth, mercy or reconciliation can take shape today. The kingdom is God’s work, not our private achievement, yet we are invited to respond where we stand.
A question to sit with
Where is God inviting a faithful response close to me?
One small step
Choose one nearby act of truth, mercy or reconciliation and do it without seeking attention.
Pray
Christ our King, open my eyes to Your presence and make my ordinary choices a willing response to You. Amen.
