Eucharistic adoration is prayer before Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament. The Eucharist may be reserved in the tabernacle or exposed in a monstrance according to the Church’s liturgical practice.

You can be still, read a short Scripture passage, give thanks or speak to Jesus in your own words. You do not have to fill every minute. Follow the chapel’s arrangements and remain respectful of people praying nearby. When the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, arrangements for continuous attendance belong to the parish.
A practical beginning
For a first visit, check the published hours and plan ten quiet minutes. Sit or kneel as your health allows. Begin, “Jesus, I am here,” then bring one concern and one gratitude into prayer.
